Fall-Winter 2009 Womens Burberry Prorsum

Here’s a quick look at the upcoming releases from the Fall-Winter 2009 Womens Burberry Prorsum collection. Is it just me, or are they (well, actually just Christopher Bailey) getting better and better with every season? One of the new bags next season for the ladies is the Burberry Woolf, seen above in alligator (Bordeaux) and burnished leather (Smog). I am also loving the accessories, especially the barb wire bracelet and ring which comes in Black or Gold.

Finally, the yet unnamed beauty which I also think is the same one that Emma is toting here. I love the fact that it looks absolutely huge on her, which pretty much means I can get away with it as well. Just look at that barb wire detail across the front! I just hope all these pieces will be available at the local press office when I visit next week. More updates to come…

Actually even if it is only a womens-only release for the barb wire bracelet I wouldn't mind wearing it as long as it fits…

The barb wire is interesting! I love that bracelet. wonder if the men's will have this design feature on the hardware.

I absolutely agree . Bailey seems to have suddenly clarified his vision. I thinks he is beginning to understand the balance of arts and commerce with designs that are both retail friendly and sartorially supreme. Now more than ever i think we need designers like him in these gloomy times more than ever so that people dream the dream and then want to go into a store and purchase that dream .
