It’s getting harder and harder to be creative these days. Sometimes it’s just easier to look to the past and see if there is anything archived that can help with the bottom line. And in the case of the Bally Villemot collection, you just dig out a really old advertisement, slap it on a couple of items and pray really really hard that it will be well received.
Created in 1982 by Bernard Villemot, ‘The Bally Blonde’ formed the basis of their advertising campaign in the same year. 27 years on, it is now the foundation of a small selection of bags, purses and shoes that will launch along with the Fall-Winter 2009 Womens Bally collection. Cinched at the sides, the bags (they come in 2 sizes) are mainly satin with leather handles/trim. Though I am not sure of the exact measurements, one (of the 2 sizes) is already available at LUISAVIAROMA for EUR195.
Besides the ballerina shoes in 4 different colours (shown above), there are also flat sandals, peep toe pumps and wedges, which also means as long as you are a woman, there should be a shoe just for you.
