Loosely translated, ‘le catalogue maroquinerie’ means ‘the leather goods catalogue’ which is precisely what I picked up today at Louis Vuitton. We have long heard that they had discontinued it to be more environmentally friendly, but the moment I starting noticing copies for sale on eBay I knew I had to pay my regular SA a visit. And true enough, she had kept one aside for me.
It’s slighter smaller than previous editions, and now comes with full colour pages to start off every section, be it for Monogram Canvas, Suhali and so on. Model numbers, colours available and measurements are also listed.
There is even a separate section just for exotics (which was a big surprise), and lists all the different bags and SLGS that Louis Vuitton makes in exotics, including ostrich, matte croc or shiny croc. At least now I know they’ve got a croc Brazza Wallet in Gris, which must be such a sight to behold. The Louis Vuitton Le Catalogue Maroquinerie, truly an essential must-have for all collectors and fans.

When I got my first bag, the Tadao, the SA asked if I wanted it and gave it to me. 🙂
It’s free, but I think the SA needs to know you… when I got my copy it was in a bag, apparently they do not want the others to just ask for one…
Hi BB! is this for sale? or it isnt?
