Yesterday’s adventure into Orchard Road was a focused one. We were going to catch Twilight at Shaw Lido, pick up the New Moon paperback at Borders for Boo, add more items to my Graffiti waitlist at Louis Vuitton, get a pair of Dr Denim Donk Chino in Ash Grey from Wooonderland, buy a X’mas gift for a colleague in our office’s gift exchange and check out Mulberry’s sale at Hilton Shopping Gallery, in no particular order.
Hectic indeed, but everything was covered. My Graffiti list got longer, I added the Graffiti Zippy Coin Purse in Orange and some other accessories to it. The chino was great too, super-comfy and stylish, at just SGD159 each (also comes in Dark Grey and Khaki).
We also spent a fair bit of time at Mulberry as I was contemplating whether or not (for the umpteenth time) to get the Mulberry Roxanne Tote in Oak. It was on sale, but only at 30% off, which would still have worked out to about SGD1750 or so. Tempting, but not tempting enough. The seasonal ones were going for 50% off, but the colours (Ocean Blue and Fuchsia) were just not suitable for me.
So it all comes down to this, should I still get the Mulberry Roxanne Tote in Oak or just pass on it and get the Burberry Large Lowry Canvas Bag instead, which I still love?
