You’ve probably heard of them by now, the Louis Vuitton X Comme des Garçons collaboration that’s due out in September. Here I post 3 of the 6 specially commissioned mutations creations which you can order from the Comme des Garçons store on Kottodori, Omotesando and have them delivered to any Louis Vuitton boutique of your choice several months later.

At the top, the Monogram Canvas Papillon customised with animal charms which I bet will be a big hit amongst the ‘kawaii-loving’ ladies of Tokyo. At the bottom, more reinterpreted pieces, including the Monogram Canvas Mini HL with 8 slender handles on the right, which I figure will appeal to serious collectors who will buy and hedge that its value will go up in the future.
