It has been a long time since Burberry had any post on this blog, and with good reason. I could not stand the very hideous Knight range, nor the bright shiny patent bags that when fondled too much would be very good for CSI trainees. That’s because they can lift many fingerprints off the surface during practical lessons.

So it was by chance that I stumbled upon the Burberry Ashbury Leather Bag in Light Brown, which I thought could belong to Mulberry, Marc Jacobs or some more dignified brand. In a nutshell, it is composed of grainy leather, with gold hardware, two handles, a zip across the top to fasten, feet on the base and the signature Burberry check as a lining.

Simple, elegant and quite a darling. At SGD1300 or so.
