Exuberant and glossy, Prada takes it a notch higher by releasing the ad campaign video that features a bevy of beautiful women, gorgeous RTW, bags and accessories and a killer mish-mash soundtrack that’s very Prada. Have a look (and a listen) and you’ll know what I mean.

And in case anyone’s wondering, the glossy leather bag featured in the ad campaign above is now available in Singapore and retails for SGD4930 a pop.

If you think the teddy bear with wings is adorable, you can take him home for SGD340.

You’ve already seen the iPhone cases covered in little hearts (the iPad cases have the exact same pattern as well); now have a look at the sling bags that are a tad too sweet for my liking. Still, I’m sure they will appeal to lots of ladies out there who just want something fun and fuss-free for weekend jaunts around town.

Here’s the aforementioned iPad case (SGD480), by the way (in case anyone’s wondering what it looks like). Besides pink, it also comes in black or white with red hearts.

Last but not least, meet Kent and Kylie (SGD310 each), Prada’s pair of boy and girl whatchamacallits that come with angel wings. Frankly, I’m not even sure what they are, but they sure are cute. If you check out the video, you’ll see that it will already come with a docking station, a Bluetooth headset and stereo headphones (which are all branded Prada, by the way), which leaves one thing missing. A Prada branded smartphone case, of course.

Having seen some prototypes of the cases, it could either be a simple case (like the Prada iPhone ones), or something more complicated which opens like a book with slots on the side for cards and cash. Or they could just do away with the case completely and offer interchangeable back covers instead, which will be great as the black Saffiano one (though nice) could get boring after a while.

Singapore will also be the only country in South-East Asia to offer this smartphone in January 2012, and besides pre-ordering at the 3 telcos, you should also be able to pick it up at Prada boutiques island wide. So tell me, which additional smartphone accessory would you like to see as the pre-order perk, and why?

And because the shirts and accessories featuring this print won’t be available till 2012, I’m actually quite happy to settle for the scarf for now, part of the Prada Foulard collection that’s now available at only 16 Prada boutiques worldwide, including our very own Prada Paragon.

Released just in time for Christmas, the scarves come in two sizes (60 cm by 60 cm or 90 cm by 90 cm) and in variety of prints besides the one I’m personally after. Ladies can pick from the ones featuring the Crisantemo print (chrysanthemum in Italian, obviously), with prices ranging from SGD520 to SGD700 apiece.

The guys can also choose from the Dama print, which is very Prada, by the way, amongst many others, including those featuring cityscapes and a couple more derived from the S/S12 runway collection, with prints like Car and Postcards as well. Which is your favourite?

As someone who is not as tech-savvy as he should be, I must admit, I don’t know what the Android Gingerbread OS refers to (or how it works). Neither did I know this phone will have a dual channel processor, or what the term 1540mAh refers to as far as the battery is concerned.

What I know, however, is how beautifully stylish it is, boasting one of the biggest (and brightest) touch screens of any smart phone currently on the market, a super-thin body (like your regular supermodel, of course) that comes in at only 0.85 cm thick, and the back of the phone featuring the same pattern as Prada’s iconic Saffiano pattern.

It also helps that the interface is as minimalist as it is, the icons simply presented. Because less is more, the colour scheme is monochromatic, the only bursts of colour (if you so choose, of course) come in the form of pre-loaded wallpapers featuring different patterns courtesy of Prada.

No word yet on how much it’ll cost, though I have a feeling it will be around the price of (if not more than) the most expensive iPhone4S model available, since it will also come with an additional Prada accessory as well. Will it be a mobile strap, or a smart phone pouch, only time will tell.

And I’m looking forward to it.

Besides the Trick Bear Charm collection, other gifts in the X’mas line-up include key rings depicting children’s toys (SGD240 to SGD290 each), mobile phone charms (SGD190) and earrings (SGD360).

There are also many different SLGs available, from iPhone and iPad cases, to these zip pouches in Saffiano leather (shown above) that are priced at SGD380 each. Available in 9 different colours, you’ll also find envelope-style card cases and USB key rings in the same colours, perfect for those who like their accessories to match.

Last but not least, for those of you who are as crazy as I am about miniature renditions of actual full-sized bags, Prada has these in 6 different colours including 2 more in exotic leathers.

Perfect as a stocking stuffer if you ask me.

YOU SHOULD SEE: Prada X’mas iPhone Case

Available in 9 different colours (I’ve put up 4 of my favourite hues here), they should work for iPhone4, the iPhone4S as well as some BlackBerry models. Not all, some. Besides these in Saffiano leather, there are couple more in exotic croc (sans the Prada logo plaque), which should cost half an arm at least.

There will also be iPad cases in Saffiano leather, as well as another variation thats resembles a book cover. More updates to come, including prices in SGD so stay tuned if you’re keen to pick up a couple for gifts.

Ample use of Saffiano leather, check. Gold-tone hardware in the form of a padlock and key, check. Short handle strap, check.
