Available in 4 different sizes of Le Pliage bags (from the smallest handbag to the largest travel tote) along with a pouch, they won’t be available in Singapore till mid-March 2012, but for those who must get them now, you’ll find them online at Colette going for between EUR55 and EUR160, depending on the size.

Besides the Le Pliage pieces, you’ll also find two totes, the larger Aquarium and the smaller Lantern, both of which feature different prints by Ms Katrantzou that retail for EUR320 and EUR350 respectively.

Thankfully, it is not the case as far as the Coach + Hugo Guinness collection is concerned, a celebration of the whimsy as seen through his eyes as he draws inspiration from the city that Coach calls home, New York City. Featuring hand carved linoleum prints that are then imprinted into all manner of totes and SLGs, the imagery is uniquely NYC, from coffee cups to sunglasses and boxing gloves to handcuffs.

The reversible totes are casual and fun, featuring a coffee cup on one and a boxer on another, fabric on the printed side, leather on the other. Retailing for SGD875 a pop, they won’t break your bank either, just the perfect bag for lugging around the laptop and all those work files. Or gym gear, it’s your choice really.

Other pieces in the limited edition collection that is now available for sale at Coach Paragon in Singapore include zip wallets in two sizes (SGD315 and SGD525 each), a sunglasses case (SGD315) as well as a key fob that’s priced at SGD145.

And as far as I’m concerned, I’m really keen on this tech case, which features a trio of zip compartments and the linoleum print of handcuffs at the side. Priced at SGD360, it is the perfect amalgamation of function and whimsy.

Made up of a foursome of luscious beauty essentials, you’ll find Les Vernis Gold Fingers (a semi-sheer golden lacquer), Rouge Coco Shine Brilliant (sheer golden lipstick), Le Crayon Lèvres Vegas Gold and Lucky Stripes (four shades of sand and bronze) that are priced at SGD37, SGD45, SGD32 and SGD100 respectively.

And while I may know next to nothing about makeup (since clearly I don’t use any), these are certainly gorgeous. And guys, your womenfolk will most certainly love them too, so get these in Singapore from 6 March 2012, available exclusively at Chanel Fragance and Beauty boutiques in ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands.

In case you’re wondering, the flats are all Kartell, who came up with the technology, an interwoven plastic technopolymer that’s 100% recyclable to be exact. Coupled with Moschino’s quirkiness, the end result is this fun collaboration of colourful flats, each topped off with a bow.

And while I can’t tell how you how they fit, they do look pretty comfortable and are priced at SGD230 a pair. Check them out for yourself at Moschino Paragon, which is located smack between Hermès and Marni.

Thankfully, the dragon padlock in question bears more resemblance to the ones in How To Train Your Dragon than Eragon, which means it is also more adorable than fierce. Priced at SGD3090 for the Amazona28 and SGD3790 for the larger Amazona that measures 36 cm across, you can get them now from Loewe Ngee Ann City.

The Dior + Anselm Reyle collection is loud, almost irreverent, as far as the capsule collection is concerned, and one that won’t find many fans as far as the purists are concerned.

But for those longing for something upbeat, fun and totally in-your-face, these are exact pieces for you, from the camouflage print Panarea totes to the New Lock clutch, most of them accompanied with a pair of coloured triangles, the artist’s graphic signature. My first impression? It’s a copyright nightmare waiting to happen, but I’m pretty sure the folks at Fabrix have already got all that sorted out. My second impression? It’s definitely nostalgic, with most (if not all of you) being able to find one least one cartoon character you still love in the montage. Get one for yourself, and a couple more as gifts because there’s really no reason why no one will love them.

Besides the iPad case (which is made of neoprene, by the way), the collection also spans cases for the 13″ and 15″ MacBook, with prices starting from SGD59.90 for the iPad case and SGD79.90 and SGD89.90 for the 13″ and 15″ cases respectively.

Not to be confused with satchels made by The Cambridge Satchel Co, Zatchels is a newly established firm that hails from Leicester. And yes, there are differences between the two. While the former’s offerings are a tad more classic (with exception of the fluoro satchels), the latter ups the ante by being crazy and adventurous, with pieces made with faux fur and featuring prints as varied as reptile, elephant and even polka dots.

Available in 4 different sizes (11.5″, 13″, 14.5″ and 16″), each limited edition Kaleidoscope Satchel is handmade in England with top quality leather (I haven’t seen one in person as yet, so I can’t really verify). Looking like it has been dipped into a rainbow, you can even choose to have a handle added, or make the or make the strap detachable, options I thought are really good.

Priced from GBP97 to GBP112, they aren’t available at any local retailer as yet but you can always head online to pick up a couple. Yes, Zatchels ship internationally too.

Far from being just an otherwise useless display ornament, lift the head and you’ll find a set of 5 different brushes, an added perk for the fairer sex. Retailing for SGD79, the limited edition set measures around 15 cm tall, and if I had one, I’ll use it to store my pens and pencils.

For those looking for something more ‘substantial’, check out the deluxe palette that comes with 25 eye shadows and 10 lip glosses. The whole set retails for under SGD60 if I remember correctly.

Just don’t use all the colours at once and end up looking like Ms Teen Pageant Hello Kitty.
