Besides being limited editions, the exclusives also feature little charms that were all Gabrielle Chanel’s favourites, which include the lion (she was born a Leo), the clover (she was superstitious and loved collecting lucky charms) and the pearl (a classic at Chanel).

And even though they are priced at SGD6280 and SGD6980 respectively (slightly pricer than the regular Classic Flap), I’ll bet you my last dollar that they will be sold out in no time at all.

In other words, SGD49,880.

Quantities of each colour (3 in all available for the ones in exotic alligator) are limited to single digits, which makes this truly desirable. If I had the spare change, I’ll definitely get one, put it on a pedestal and stare at it all day long. Does anyone else out there feel the same?

Firstly, it is rounded around the bottom, a nice curve that gives it a really cute butt profile. The top handle is also adjustable, meaning you can either make it short to hand carry it, or longer to tote it over the shoulder. What I like most is the long adjustable tri-coloured strap, a nice touch to an already interesting bag.

Measuring almost 32 cm across, it’s a satchel that’s worth a second look for F/W10. Check it out in Black and other colours at either Mandarin Gallery (the flagship) or Ngee Ann City.

Strangely though, I’ve never received a single snapshot of the Peekaboo for Bagaholicboy Mailbag. Does anyone out there have one? Or hoping to get one sometime soon?

Take for example the Mulberry + Target Quilted Denim Satchel, which was retailing for only USD39.90. Measuring 24.5 cm across, this quilted denim and patent leather cutie even has a hanging heart charm on the front. There’s another version with longer shoulder handles and that retailed for USD49.90.

Same size (and price) as the denim satchel is this, the Mulberry + Target Patent Leather Satchel, which looks exactly the same as the former.

Other pieces in this cheap and chic collection include the Mulberry + Target Patent Leather Crossbody (USD29.99) and the Mulberry + Target Quilted Denim Mini Crossbody (USD14.99).

Thankfully however, this is not the end of it. The collection will be made available across the USA in Target stores come 10 October 2010, so it is still not to late for you to get yourself a bag or two, provided of course you’ve got someone on standby in the States to do your bidding.

And this exotic croc (I do hope for all our wallets’ sakes it is mock croc though) satchel is all that and more. I love how the little details like the studs and chain-link sling give it that instant lift, and if you are familiar with Proenza Schouler, you’ll know that is this distinctly them.

Another gorgeous (and hopefully more afforable variation), in what looks like untreated calf leather (or suede) with a black leather flap and strips of blue lizard skin. And somehow it just works perfectly together. Delish.

And last but not least, the shoulder sling bag I’ve already featured just recently, which in my opinion is to-die-for. Hopefully these will be stocked at Club21 when they finally release the brand in Singapore. If not, there is always Colette and Net-A-Porter to stalk online.

Here’s the bag proper in all its full glory, a 34 cm by 30 cm spongy patent leather satchel that’s more handsome than happening. And like I’ve mentioned before, it is perfect for those who want something cleaner, more classic and a little bit more ladylike. Plus I like the fact that it can go casual (just look at Olivia’s outfit) or formal, depending on the occasion. And since we are on the topic of outfits, don’t you hate how she and her beau are somehow just so perfectly matched in a non-hurl inducing way?

Besides Nude, it is also available locally in Steel (a dark bluish-black) and they both retail for SGD1990. There is also another variation in camel haircalf, and that retails for SGD4360 in Singapore.

And in case anyone is wondering, the Alma BB in Monogram Canvas has not officially launched in Singapore just yet, but should retail for SGD1250 a pop.

And to make things worse, it doesn’t help that the Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Givenchy collection is turning out to be a lust-worthy contender for your precious hard-earned dollars. Take for example the bright orange Givenchy Antigona (shown above). As handsome as the musings of Céline and Jil Sander in my opinion, it’s a piece that would take centrestage in any collection.

Another version, but in exotic croc with side panels in luscious suede. Yum.

An icon in its own right, the Givenchy Nightingale which comes in bright red this season. The colour red seems to be in this season too. Remember the gorgeous Jil Sander tote I just posted a couple days back?

And before I sign off, another fine example of the new Givenchy aesthetic that will surely win new fans, a very cleanly designed shoulder bag that can also double up as a clutch sans the removable chain link shoulder sling. I like. More updates to come, including more information about their upcoming opening as soon as everything is confirmed.

A smaller cuter alternative, a little pouch with the bag charm in another design, which includes the freakily cute wool knit doll. This one’s in a bikini by the way.

Or, just go for the bag charm itself. Notice how all the dolls are dressed differently. I’m not sure if they’re already available at the D&G flagship at Mandarin Gallery just yet, so sit tight while I gather more information.
