And for 2012 they’ve picked Tangerine Tango, a ‘spirited reddish orange’ that’s supposedly also ‘sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive’. And while that’s all well and good, it’s much too orangey-red for my liking. Instead I prefer the bright (and neon) hues that have been all over place since F/W11.

Best used in small doses, they instantly lift any otherwise drab outfit and give you that extra bounce in your step (or so I would like to believe). Remember, less is more, unless of course you want to look like a tower of Mandarin oranges come Lunar New Year, which may not be a bad thing as well. But only during CNY, please.
