Measuring 24 cm by 16.5 cm, it comes with 5 (yes, 5) zip compartments. 2 in front, 2 at the back and one of top, which is great for all matter of paper paraphernalia. Yes, discount cards, name cards, vouchers, receipts, it just goes on and on. And because I prefer not to stuff my wallet till it starts resembling Moby Dick, this pouch from Mulberry would be apt.

Besides Oak, it also comes in Black (in leather), as well as a glossy pink leather one that’s great for the gals.

The only drawback? Having to pay GBP225 (almost SGD450) for it. Not really expensive, but I would rather not spend so much for something that stays hidden in my bag 70% of the time. And if anyone out there knows of something similar at a lower price, please feel free to leave a comment.

On the inside you’ll find a slot for notes, 6 credit card slots, as well as 4 additional compartments for receipts and other bits. Those hoping for a coin pocket will be disappointed though; this particular model comes without, which is the way I personally like it.

If you need an additional card case and want something matching, then check out the Louis Vuitton Monogram Macassar Neo Card Case (SGD380), which is pretty cool as far as the design is concerned. You’ll find 2 slots in front and 4 at the back (shown above).

Last but not least, if you’re looking for something more substantial than the Porte Valeurs Organiser but not as bulky as the Brazza Wallet, than check out the Louis Vuitton Monogram Macassar Tanon Wallet (SGD745), a long wallet that’s great as a travel companion with a zip compartment, 8 credit card slots, as well as 3 other compartments for notes, receipts and the like.

My only gripe? They are a little bit pricey, don’t you think?

Available in bright yellow, or vibrant turquoise, they are a surefire way of catching the attention of whomever you’re giving out a name card to. Get it for GBP160 a pop online at Net-A-Porter, or check out your local Jil Sander store for pricing and availability.

Each more adorable than the next, they are all no bigger than the palm of your hand, in luscious materials like nappa leather and suede. Adorned with matching hardware (their bigger siblings are finished the same way); they will retail for SGD740 and up.

In recognition of the fact that Singapore is fast rising as a leading fashion capital, a limited collection of these miniatures have been flown in and will be available at Miu Miu Paragon starting today.

They won’t hold much, but they sure are cute, and will look even more stunning on my X’mas tree. I just need to decide on which one to get now, I guess. And don’t forget to check out my Facebook fan page for the other variations available.

It is also a small company, making fine leather products today the same way they did a hundred years ago. But back to the pochette at hand. Besides the fact that it is shaped like the letter D, I love the fact that it has credit card slots on one side (6 to be exact). What’s more, the 13.5 cm by 10 cm pochette packs a zip that opens widely, allowing you to store other essential bits like loose change or cash.

A great alternative wallet, and a stylish one at that too. Retailing for EUR290, it also comes in Sunrise (an intense orange) besides the one in Café (shown above). My only grouse? Though they do ship internationally, charges start from EUR110 which does not make much sense at all. Another complaint? They will ship to Sierra Leone and the Solomon Islands, but not to Singapore.

I don’t get it.

P+G is a Japanese company that specialises in making lifestyle products like wallets, card cases and coin purses out of silicone. Besides adorable coin pouches that come in a dazzling array of colours, they currently have a Hello Kitty limited edition that retails for Y1200 (around SGD18.50 or so). Measuring 92 mm by 45 mm, it is palm-sized, great for loose change and other bits.

There is an online site that seems to take orders, though I am not completely sure if they take international orders. If anyone out there can read Japanese and is able to transact an international order, do kindly leave a comment here. Or if anyone has spotted them anywhere locally, do let me know too.
