And June was also the month I shopped too much. Much too much.

Let’s take a closer look.

01. The all-important press junket to Taipei. Not only did I get to see the F/W10 collection up close and personal, we also got to attend the launch party of the Loewe Leather Icons collection which had Hong Kong celebrity Kelly Chen in attendance as well. And don’t forget to click here for more snapshots.

02. Pick up the July issue of NÜYOU magazine and you’ll finally get to see what I look like. Yes, in shades and all on page 67.

03. I’ve always lusted over the Rimowa Classic Flight collection ever since I saw it early this year, and in June Rimowa made my dream a reality. They gifted me not 1, but 2 pieces from the collection; a cabin trolley and a jumbo trolley. Frankly I was afraid that it would pop open on the way back to Singapore (considering the amount of shopping I did) but it came back to me perfectly intact.

04. June is also the month when S/S11 menswear collections are shown in Milan and Paris. My top 5 favourites from Milan? In alphabetical order; Bottega Veneta, Burberry Prorsum, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, and Prada.

05. And speaking of menswear, here’s my only favourite (yes I’m biased like that) from Paris. It’s been a long while since I actually bought any bags from Louis Vuitton (shown above), but with the selection that came down the runway, that looks set to change once 2011 rolls by. Other Louis Vuitton highlights in the month of June include the Mahina Stellar collection, the adorable Alma BB in Monogram Canvas, and the soon to be released Damier Ebene Rivington collection.

06. Loved loved loved the Goldheart Mode Twist Ring.

07. Celine is another brand that’s left a deep impression on me. From Phoebe Philo’s classic box bag, to her Resort 2011 collection, it’s definitely the brand that’s had a 360° revival.

08. Other bits and bobs include Nakata’s visit to Singapore for Calvin Klein X Underwear, getting to try out the new LG Mini, lusting over the Bottega Veneta Nero Moro Spinnaker Duffle, and drooling over that sexy quartet of exotic croc Proenza Schouler PS1 satchels.

09. I went gadget crazy as well and picked up an Apple MacBook Pro 13″, as well as a Panasonic Lumix DMC GF-1. Both of which served me very, very well when I was in Taipei and will hopefully go the extra mile for me when I hit Paris come late September.

10. Besides gadgets, June will officially go down as the month that I went overboard and shopped way too much. Besides the 2 pieces I picked up for myself in Taipei from Loewe recently (the 3rd piece was a gift for Mum), I also got a bag from YSL there. And that’s not all.

During the start of the month I also picked up something from Miu Miu, a bag and a pair of SLGs from Prada, something else from Louis Vuitton, another item from Proenza Schouler that’s on the way from the States, along with something from Incase.

Oh, and something small from Balenciaga as well.

01. The Great Singapore Sale is upon us, and many more brands are starting their end-of-season sales this week, including Miu Miu, Prada and YSL. If you missed out on the earlier post with the detailed information, click here and have a good look.

02. Mandarin Gallery is also having their ‘The Great Night Sale‘ this Friday. And that’s not all. Goldheart has also kicked off their sale as well, with offers are that indeed sparkling and not to be missed!

03. And while it is true that we should just focus on all the sales going on now, there’s really no harm keeping an eye out for next season’s bags that are are slowly but surely appearing on our shop shelves. Favourites of mine for the boys include those from Gucci, Prada, and Loewe.

04. Fans of Louis Vuitton take note. The Monogram Canvas Delightful collection has already been released in Singapore, so head on down quickly if you’re keen. Also more updates on the Cosmic Blossom collection, and the much anticipated iPad case. Finally, check out little Darcel’s visit to Louis Vuitton’s new Maison at New Bond Street in London.

05. Many of you went ga-ga when I did the post on The Cambridge Satchel Company. If you missed out the first time round don’t forget to check them out now. Besides being 100% hand-made, they are also stylish, chic and oh-so-affordable!

06. The Mulberry Alexa for F/W10 also left many of you breathless, along with newly launched Neely collection.

07. Bang, bang, bang. Check out Marc Jacob’s ode to his new fragrance right here, as well as possible hits and misses from his upcoming Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Marc Jacobs collection.

08. May was also all about sex. Sex And The City 2 that is. Two lucky readers got to attend the gala premiere with me courtesy of HP, and 3 more won a gorgeous bottle of SKYY Vodka + Sex And The City limited edition each! Congratulations once again to all the winners!

10. What’s a month without shopping, right? Besides my spanking new Nespresso Citiz Aerocino which I picked up last week, I’ve also picked up 4 pairs of Car Shoe, a Kartell Bourgie, a little something-something from Prada, and a Casio X-Large Vivid Colour in Cyan!

May 2010 is going to be really busy. I’ve been commissioned for a huge project which will kick off very soon, but before I spill the beans and say too much, here’s a quick look back at what happened at Bagaholicboy for the month of April.

01. Gucci, Gucci, Gucci. Biggest opening in Singapore to date, with both Gucci CEO Patrizio di Marco and Creative Director Frida Giannini gracing the event (in person) at Gucci Paragon’s spanking new duplex store in the day, followed by a glitzy gala dinner in the evening at Capella Singapore. Frida got her orchid, MILK got a huge donation and everyone went home happy.

02. Another opening of sorts (albeit a soft one), this time at ION Orchard. Who am I talking about? Car Shoe of course! I’ve tried on a pair myself and already I’m pretty convinced it will soon become a firm essential on my must-have list. Don’t believe me? Head on down yourself, look for Mariona and ask to try anything. She rocks, and so does Car Shoe!

03. And since it has been raining so much in Singapore lately, the Burberry April Showers collection was certainly an apt release. Wellies anyone?

04. April is also the month I officially welcomed the House of Dior into the fold. New posts include those on Hong Kong actress Michelle Yeh and her Dior Minaudiere, the old-Hollywood-glamour-meets-Inspector-Gadget inspired S/S10 collection for women, and the immaculately stylish S/S10 collection for men.

05. Save the Earth and look cool while doing it. Introducing the Envirosax Slingsax; made specifically for the men in mind. Which just means one thing. Ladies, your men will no longer have any excuse not to help you out with your groceries.

06. Did a quick preview of the Fall-Winter 2010 Mens Mulberry collection. Loved it then, still loving them now…

07. Reebonz! Reebonz! Reebonz! Prada! Prada! Prada! Nuff said!

08. Had a fabulous time assisting at a fashion editorial shoot and I had many of you drooling all over the Chanel pieces. Yes Chanel. Click here, and here.

10. And last but not least, it’s never a complete month without Louis Vuitton right here on this blog. 01. Loads of new bags for the girls, including the Mulberry Tooled Roxanne Tote (not bad for SGD550), the Alexander Wang Rocco Mini (cute!), the Kate Spade Bon Mot Shopper (loving the colours available), the Miu Miu Medium Coffer (more gorgeous colours!) and the Mulberry Ink Print Bayswater.

02. And because any month on this blog is not complete without Louis Vuitton. The Louis Vuitton Monogram Idylle collection has hit Singapore, and many you lapped it up with the Speedy30 Bandouliere being the single most popular bag from this collection to date (click here to see them all). Another huge release that’s coming out next month is the Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom collection. Better wait list now to avoid missing out on anything.

03. For the boys (no, I have not forgotten you guys), check out the Coach Mens Hamptons Weekend Tote, the goat tote from Jack Spade, gorgeous bags from the Spring-Summer 2010 Mens Gucci collection, the Comme des Garçons Shirt Bag, and last but not least the perforated leather portfolio from Prada I’m still lusting over.

04. And for both girls and boys, a nice selection of iPhone cases and covers. Blackberry owners need not bother.

05. Paris, Paris, Paris. Check out my big 5 of Paris, as well as individual posts on Chanel, Loewe and Louis Vuitton.

06. Sienna Miller with her Louis Vuitton Monogram Antheia GM. Yay! Anne Hathaway with her Kate Moss Longchamp Ladbrooke. Nay!

07. Not for everyone, won’t be best-sellers, but I love them all the same. S/S10 bags from Proenza Schouler, the Loewe Parpelle collection, and these framed totes from Jil Sander.

08. I’ve also got the man candy posts down pat. Check out Andy, Christopher, along with red carpet Oscar cuties Gerard, Jake and Ryan.

09. Finally succumbed to Hermès and got myself not one, but 2 Ulysse agendas, including a PM in Gold, and a TPM in Bleu de Prusse. Joy!

10. And last but not least, do your part for the SCWO-Star Shelter and bid generously especially on the 3 items I’ve donated, including a pair of totes from Agnès b. and Marc by Marc Jacobs, and a cosmetic pouch from Kate Spade.

And on this note, I leave you with the best of February 2010.

01. Burberry does it again with their Fall-Winter 2010 Womens Burberry Prorsum runway presentation that was not only ‘live’ streamed, but also viewed in 5 countries in 3D. And that’s not all, for a limited time period that has already ended, one could also purchase online a selection of 30 outerwear pieces and 18 bags, plus get them delivered to your home 3 months before they hit the stores. Cool? Indeed!

02. More from Burberry Prorsum, including the celebrities that graced the runway show, and the gorgeous close-up detail shots that made my knees weak. And yes, I’m still sore I missed it all in London but I promise to make it this September for S/S11.

03. The big 5 of Milan in my opinion for F/W10, comprising Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Gucci and Prada and their gorgeous runway offerings.

04. Bigger than big, the soon-to-be-released Louis Vuitton Cosmic Blossom collection. And already I’m eyeing the scarf. Another gorgeous addition to the Damier Ebene family in my opinion has got to be the Verona. In GM, MM, and PM.

05. February 2010 also marks the launch of the Kate Moss For Longchamp collection, a selection of pieces that you either love, or hate. Frankly after previewing the collection in its entirety at the new Longchamp boutique in Paragon, I’m not a fan. But that’s just me.

06. Chanel, Chanel, Chanel. Nuff said.

07. Besides the really expensive, I also cover the fun and affordable. Those that fall under the latter this month include the Kate Spade Bon Mot Bon Shopper, the Furla Flagship collection, the Marc Jacobs + Maripol collection, the Marc by Marc Jacobs Miss Marc collection (to be released in the coming month), and the one I’ll be personally watching, the Coach Pierre Le-Tan collection.

08. More ad campaigns from the major brands showcased as well; including Kate Moss For Longchamp, the much-talked about Malletier campaign from Louis Vuitton, as well as Miu Miu, Prada, and my personal fave; Lutz and Nakata for ck Calvin Klein.

09. After a long wait, both the Burberry Prorsum Vintage House Check Hobo and the Burberry Prorsum Vintage House Check Tote have arrived in Singapore. And readers Angelia and Janice promptly got themselves a hobo each. Well done gals!

01. Biggest thing? Being able to attend the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens/Mens Louis Vuitton press presentation of course! What made it sweeter was the fact that I was the only blogger in Singapore to be officially invited based on the merit of this blog and that’s why I still beam like an idiot every time I think about that fateful day.

02. Uniqlo, Uniqlo, Uniqlo. Getting invited to the fashion show was one thing, but the store preview (with free shopping vouchers) was especially cool! I was even allowed to hold a giveaway that one of my readers won which also meant he and his date had shopping vouchers too.

03. Fans of the Mulberry Alexa got all hot and bothered when I messed up the currencies and got the prices wrong. Thankfully that’s been resolved…

04. Love, love, love the new Loewe Napa collection, buttery soft and in gorgeous colours that’s just perfect for the Lunar New Year. Don’t believe me? Then check it out for yourself.

05. Did my second Bagaholicboy Review, and this time I had the pleasure of testing out the Burberry Prorsum Stonewashed Carpenter Bag.

01. For starters, how about meeting Christopher Bailey in person? Yes I saw him when I was in London for the Spring-Summer 2010 Womens Burberry Prorsum runway show and after party, but that paled in comparison to what happened in Singapore. He smiled at me. He shook my hand. He kindly autographed a photograph. And we took a couple of snaps together. Bliss. Was then. Still is now.

02. Coming in at 2nd place has got to be my tiny mention in Prada: The Book. Don’t believe me? Just flip to page 526. Nuff said.

03. Got on a plane. Got off the plane. Got on another plane. And between the getting on and off, we were still in Singapore. Yes, read about my first ever press junket to Hong Kong for the launch of the LG New Chocolate here.

04. Attended many grand openings of flagship stores in Singapore, including Burberry, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana and Prada (thank you all who made it all possible for me to even attend in the first place).

05. Started a new section on the blog (Bagaholicboy Reviews) and kicked off with my first official review; the amazing and lush Loewe Amazona Weekender in Black Calf.

06. Had the chance to assist on a fashion shoot in Singapore for a magazine that’s published in Hong Kong. Totally awesome. And because of the shoot, now I’m lusting for the cardigan. Not good at all…

07. Fretting about what to get your loved ones for X’mas? Loads of holiday collections already previewed on the blog including those by Agnès b., Coach, Hermès, Kate Spade, Loewe, Louis Vuitton and Miu Miu.

08. Featured even more new upcoming collections you’ll either love or hate. Miu Miu Stage Bag anyone? A Coin Purse Bunny or a Pochette Rooster? How about a waterproof cotton Tod’s Pashmy?

09. What’s a month without obsessions? The one that got away/can’t be found/what on Earth is it called; the leather clutch from the Fall-Winter 2009 Womens Proenza Schouler collection.

10. And last but not least, I did my part for the less fortunate. Do your part too and get a copy of ‘Snowman In Africa’ for just SGD36. 100% of its proceeds goes to Unicef. Please?

01. Feeling like a kid in a candy store was exactly how I felt at the recent Coach opening at Paragon. Sweet!

02. Dolce, Dolce, Dolce. The best opening party I attended all year (not that I attended that many in the first place). Still kudos goes out to the folks at Club21 who really know how to throw a party.

03. And did I mention I saw gorgeous David Gandy in the flesh at said party?

04. Loads of love from all of you with regards to the soon to be launched Mulberry Alexa and Mulberry Leah collections. Lush!
