01. It was a busy month for me as far as adding new bags to my collection was concerned. For the month of January, it was all about colourful and roomy totes, and I ended up with the Burberry Prorsum Large Sunburst Print Tote, along with this coated canvas tote from Pierre Hardy. The Rolex I’m eyeing will just have to wait a little longer then.

02. With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, here are some gift ideas you should check out from the likes of Chanel, Louis Vuitton, and Prada. You can also check this post out if your loved one is obsessed with hearts, as well as the Celestial Embracia collection from Goldheart.

03. For those of you who are flush with takings from your red packets over CNY, here’s a quick suggestion on what you could be buying for yourself. From the quilted leather tome from Chanel to those drool-worthy Givenchy sandals, there’s pretty much something for everyone. For those who want to get themselves some dragon paraphernalia, check out this post.

04. From the odd to absolutely quirky, here are the acetate totes from Jil Sander, the S/S12 transparent Lockit, as well as the Furla Glitter Candy Bag that’s also quite perfect for Valentine’s Day. 09. Other interesting bits and bobs covered this month on the blog include the Chanel Las Vegas de Chanel makeup collection, those bright plastic flats from Moschino + Kartell, the frog keyfob from Etro, the OTT iPhone4 case from Butler & Wilson, and those leather bracelets from Balenciaga that got many of you very excited.

While I’ve had an excellent year as far as the blog is concerned, I am thankful for all the support and love you guys have given me. I’ve also made my resolutions for the new year, but before I lose your attention with my intense rambling, here’s a quick recap of what happened right here in the month of December.

Happy New Year guys, here’s wishing all of you a fantastic 2012 ahead!

01. Online sale shopping is in full swing, with discounts of up to 50% off over at Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter. Mulberry’s online sale has also begun, as well as more juicy discounts over at Eranzi, Kepris, and Shopbop.

02. A&F opened to huge fanfare on 15 December 2011, with Singaporeans (and tourists) of all shapes and sizes taking snapshots with the 30-strong contingent of boys with hard pecs and washboard abs specially flown in to grace the opening.

03. Ad campaigns are slowly surfacing as the new season approaches; check out the January instalment of Burberry’s new S/S12 ad campaign, as well as Louis Vuitton’s sugar, spice and everything nice campaign starring newcomers Kati Nescher and Daria Strokous.

04. One of the most anticipated designer smartphones will officially be available for pre-order in early January 2012. In case you missed both posts on the Prada LG 3.0, have a look here, and here.

05. Dior is on a roll as far as being fashion-forward is concerned in the new year. Check out the bags and accessories (as well the videos) from their Cruise 2012 collection, as well as the soon-to-be-launched Dior + Anselm Reyle collaboration. More Dior, this time in the form of their new bag, the So Dior. So lovely? You tell me.

06. More bags (and SLGs) to check out include the stunning Bottega Veneta Metal Lace Karung Knot, the Burberry Belted Check Sling, the Loewe Amazona Dragon that’s perfect for the Lunar New Year, and the wallets from Proenza Schouler that are absolutely delicious.

07. Guys need not feel left out. Check out the Mulberry Postman’s Lock Backpack, pouches from the likes of Dunhill, Mulberry, and Smythson, along with this pair of outrageous mens shoes from Christian Louboutin’s S/S12 collection.

08. After Christmas, no other holiday induces as much stress for the guys as much as Valentine’s Day. It’s time to start planning what you’ll be getting for your wife/girlfriend/partner so check out the Valentine’s 2012 collections from Chanel, and Louis Vuitton. If a bag is way out of the budget, why not check out these bracelets from Chanel instead?

09. As far as the wacky and interesting are concerned, I think I got it pretty covered too. Check out the Fabrix + Mojoko Pop Tunes collection, the LeSportsac + Joyrich Candy Camo Erika, and the Longchamp Le Pliage ‘Postcard’. And let’s not forget the cute Moneyphant from Georg Jensen, as well as the wacky printed iPhone4 cases from Swash London.

10. Last, but by no means least, check out the S/S12 foulards from Prada (one of which has got my name on it), as well as the Graff Hermès collection that was created in collaboration with French graffiti artist Kongo.

This month’s instalment of Bagaholicboy Reminisces takes a look at all the best bags, SLGs and other bits that were featured in the month of November, along with some other highlights you should have a look at if you already haven’t.

01. There were not 1, but two instalments of Bagaholicboy Likes in November, featuring 20 different festive gift ideas. If you’re looking for something extravagant in hues of green and gold, do check out this spread which contains an exotic crocodile bag from Louis Vuitton, jewellery from Cartier and Goldheart, as well as an incredibly cute duck pendant from Mondial. Speaking of interesting displays, don’t forget to pop by Chanel at Ngee Ann City before 4 December 2011 to check out theirs as well. The typically beige interior of the Chanel boutique is now blanketed with a backdrop of scintillating walls, with a lighted silhouette of Place Vendome, complete with street lamps.

04. More gifting ideas come in the form of these interesting designer collaborations, such as snow globes, playing cards, a surf board and even a CD compilation. Check out the post for more details. The snow globes are already sold out in Singapore, by the way.

05. Bags you could have missed out in the month of November include the Alexander Wang’s Dalmatian Rafael, as well as his Prisma iPad Case, the Burberry Prorsum Tonal Raffia Bowling Bag, an update on the Chanel Boy, the Fendi Color Fendista collection and the Zatchels Kaleidoscope Satchel.

Fresh from Paris Fashion Week, here are some of my S/S12 picks from Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton. Still on the topic of PFW, here are some short videos I took myself while at the various show venues. Sure, they aren’t exactly professional, but I’m proud to call them my own. And check out some snapshots taken backstage at the S/S12 Loewe runway presentation in Paris.

02. More Loewe, including their limited edition Masters Of Leather collection (no one should be without one of these brightly-coloured beauties), their Made-To-Order service, as well as some quotable quotes from the man himself, Stuart Vevers. Don’t forget to check out the S/S12 Loewe Cordoba either, another firm favourite of mine from the Spanish luxury house.

03. The much anticipated H&M + Versace collaboration range drops in another 16 days, so before that happens so make sure you check out my 10 must-buy pieces from the limited edition one-off collection. Also, check out the look book, as well as the ad campaign.

04. Introducing the Hermès Haut À Courroies, one of the holy grails that still hasn’t made it into my collection. Need I say more?

Without further ado, here are some highlights for the month of September. In other words, time to catch up what you could possibly have missed.

01. Huge openings were the highlight for all in Singapore during the month, the first being high street fashion giant H&M’s opening along Orchard Road, followed by the world’s first Louis Vuitton Island Maison, located right in front of Marina Bay Sands.

02. Other interesting happenings included the Hermès Festival des Métiers, as well as the Gucci Artisan Corner, both of which presented esteemed craftsmen specially flown in from their respective countries of origin, giving Singaporeans an up-close and personal look at how their much-loved designer goods are painstakingly put together.

03. As far as bags for the ladies are concerned, the month’s highlights included the bags and clutches from F/W11 Jil Sander, the LeSportsac + Joyrich collection, the limited edition pieces from the Loewe + Katie Hillier collection, the Victoria Beckham Victoria, as well as the Tom Ford Carine, which I spotted at Colette while in Paris.

04. New releases from Mulberry this month included the Quilted Alexa that most of you didn’t like, as well as the Mulberry Heritage Bayswater Satchel that drew mixed responses. Hey, I tell it like it is.

05. Boys, you needn’t feel left out either. Picks for you this month include the Gucci Bamboo Leather Holdall, the Gucci Diamante Nylon Shoulder Bag (ok, maybe not) and the 3.1 Phillip Lim 31 Hour Bag. And if you’re looking for really colourful name card cases, why not check out these from Jil Sander as well?

06. Always on the lookout for a good pair of shoes for myself, here are some options worth checking out. Say hello to the B Store Canvas Loafers, as well as these colourful loafers from Swims.

08. I can’t wait for November to roll by, especially since I’m eagerly awaiting the release of the new Louis Vuitton Monogram Rayure Neverfull which will come in sizes MM, GM and a new size, the TGM. 01. One of F/W11′s most beautiful bags, the Dior Miss Dior gives all other bags in the same league a run for their money, herself a creation that’s all sensuous and lush. Check out the post and don’t forget to spend a little time viewing the video either; it’s lovely.

02. Another collection of bags I’m loving to bits are those F/W11 oversized clutches from Miu Miu. Large, oversized and roomy, these luscious bags come in luxurious materials like nappa leather, suede and wool felt.

03. Speaking of videos, other posts with video clips include Burberry’s August ad campaign (there’s a video that showcases the month’s key bags), as well as another featuring the gorgeous Hermès Illico.

01. Givenchy featured heavily on the blog for the month of July, and with good reason. The F/W11 is in a word, stunning and if you need proof, just check out these posts. 03. Just for the boys, my top 7 picks for F/W11 as far as the bags are concerned. If you’re wondering which pair of shoes I was lusting over for the month of July, here’s the answer. Love love love those boots from Givenchy.

04. From Louis Vuitton, check out the clutches and bags from the F/W11 mens collection, as well as the Lockit Pulsion collection for the ladies. Other new bags on the horizon for fans include the Cuir Obsession bags, the new Monogram Vernis colour Givre, and the SLGs and small goods from the Illustration collection.

05. As far as iPhone cases and BlackBerry pouches are concerned, they include Louis Vuitton’s iPhone cases, D&G’s quilted nylon cases, BlackBerry pouches from Kate Spade, and the ones from the Incase + Andy Warhol collection. 01. The single post that garnered the most amount of reactions would have to be the one about Chanel’s price increment which came into effect in May. Viewed over 6500 times since the day it was posted, I can only attribute it to two factors. Singaporeans’ love for Chanel, and their general disdain for having to pay more.

02. May 2011 should also be remembered for the sheer variety of affordable, fun bags that were featured on this blog, from the Marc Jacobs ‘Fight Like A Girl’ Tote to the Will Guatemalan Carry-All. And that’s not all. Other gems to check out include the Souve ‘Can’t Afford A Birkin’ Tote, as well as the lush pony hair clutch from local brand Depression that’s only SGD220.

03. Other affordable buys include the Pochi Hello Kitty Silicone Pouch, the Marc Jacobs Peseta Backpack and the DVF Diane collection.

04. Fans of Mulberry, you’re in luck. Besides the Alexa in new colours like Chocolate and Bright Cabbage, there’s also the new Oversized Taylor that’s great for work, as well as the Postman’s Lock Camera Bag that’s great for play.

05. I haven’t forgotten the boys either. Check out the new Postman’s Lock Travel Bag, as well as the upcoming Mulberry Rockley Satchel that’s definitely a keeper!

06. From Burberry we’ve got the new tote from Burberry Prorsum that’s for the ladies, as well as the Burberry Prorsum Utility Canvas Tote for the boys. There’s also the new foldable sunglasses from the Burberry Brights collection that’s bright, cheery and fun.

07. Some of the F/W11 beauties that will be released in the coming months include these lovely Lady Dior bags, the Coach Chelsea Dowel Flap, the gorgeous travel bag from Prada, as well as the new pieces from the Chanel Boy collection. And let’s not forget the opening of H&M in Singapore come September 2011. Exciting!
