Starting 16 July 2010, Mandarin Gallery will be kicking off their ‘Lose Yourself In A Culinary Symphony’ promo. And unlike other food promos that give you useless corporate gifts that you won’t even use in the first place, I would like to highlight what Mandarin Gallery is giving away.

Spend just SGD50 at any of their 11 food and beverage outlets and you will be able to redeem a box of chocolates from Beschle Chocolatier Suisse and a SGD50 dining voucher. In other words, your first meal would be free. Or to put it more accurately, you’ll be getting a one-for-one deal. Eat once, get the free voucher, then eat again.

Here he is lounging in an armchair and looking mighty pleased with himself. And while you can’t really see the jeans at all in the first place, that doesn’t really matter because sex still sells. You would get your boyfriend a pair anyway and pray really hard one day you’ll wake up to this (insert Cristiano, abs, or whichever else you prefer).

Expect to see more of his front face when ads will roll out in all major magazines (along with giant billboards in major cities) come July 2010, which I’m sure will prove to be a major distraction on all fronts.

This is not true.

I have personally checked with Club21 and their spokesperson has informed me that this is just a huge misunderstanding, and most online sites that have put up said posts have already taken down or amended their posts.

What is true (and still on-going) is the UOB cardmembers’ promotion that rewards you with SGD50 in shopping vouchers for every SGD350 charged to your UOB credit or debit cards. Club21 will also be kicking off their end-of-season sales at all 60 boutiques in Singapore in the coming month so keep an eye out for sale announcements online, or in the newspapers.
