Saint Laurent has been pushing out fashionable crossbody bags season after season, and there seems to be no signs of stopping. There was Kate, the flap bag that’s like the up-sized version of a WOC and Sunset, a bigger piece that comes with two roomy compartments. This June, an all-new silhouette known as the Book Bag makes an appearance as an online exclusive, one that you will not be able to find in stores.

Each bag comes with a leather trim around the bordered edges, one that’s reminiscent of a book (hence the name) when ‘flipped’ open via the magnetic snap button fastening. With a strap drop of 54 cm, the Book Bag can be worn across the body or over the shoulder, or even carried under the arm like a chic clutch. On the inside, you’ll find a single compartment for all your utmost essentials, with two slip pockets for cards and receipts.

Measuring 24 cm by 15 cm, the Book Bag comes in three versions. There’s Black, which comes in a black suede leather with a tonal brushed silver metal hardware, there’s Multi-Brown, with sandy tones of suede, leather, and bronze metal hardware, both of which are priced at SGD2840. If, however, if you want something even more ra-ra, there’s another with a pony leather exterior in an ocelot print that retails at a tad more at SGD3750.
