Maybe I’m just a sentimental fool, but at first glance the new Gracy Satchel from Mulberry reminds me of the Alexa, their huge huge hit from the noughties. But those days are long gone, and the Alexa has since been retired, so there’s really no point looking back.

Which leaves us with this, the Gracy Satchel, which has the same lock as the Amberley family of bags. Coming in a single size (29 cm by 22 cm), the bag’s satchel shape is as classic Mulberry as it gets. In addition, apart from the locking clasp right in front, the two leather tabs on the front flap act as a second way of securing the bag (see what I mean?). On the inside you’ll find a roomy interior lined in suede, providing ample space for all your day’s needs. Armed with a detachable leather shoulder strap, you could sling it over the shoulder instead of carrying it by just its top handle.

Priced at SGD1590 (not bad at all for a full leather bag), the Gracy Satchel comes in 4 colours, which also means there’s definitely something for everyone. From Black and Tan to Burgundy and Rosewater, you can check them all out at your local Mulberry boutiques now.
