Shopping at boutiques can be a beautiful process simply because you can get up close with the products, feel it, wear it, carry it as you please and see if it matches with your wardrobe. Bringing your best friend along will help as well, if you’re all about getting a second opinion. Which is why we’re glad to bring you the following news. While the world got an online preview of Fendi’s #FFreloaded Capsule collection that was first launched on Net-A-Porter, it is now also available in its entirety at selected Fendi boutiques worldwide, including of course the ones at Marina Bay Sands and Takashimaya Shopping Centre.

But first, a little bit of history. The FF logo was created in 1965 by Karl Lagerfeld, who’s been with the brand ever since and currently holds the position of Creative Director along with Silvia Venturini Fendi. Essentially the initials that were double-flipped to form an almost vertical rectangle, which eventually evolved into a much-loved monogram in the 70s. Fast forward to present day, where everything old is now new again, we have #FFreloaded.

Aside from appearing on RTW and a fair bit of accessories, this monogram pattern also appears on a number of bags, 3 of which we’ve managed to get up close and personal with over the week. For starters, there’s the Mon Tresor Bag (SGD2390), the cutest mini bucket bag that’s trimmed with the shearling logos at the base of the bag. Cute.

Next, the Mini Kan I Bag (SGD4350), which comes in a tan leather version that’s covered entirely with the velvety soft monogram pattern front and back.

The third is the full sized Kan I Bag (SGD4190) that’s the perfect everyday work bag. It’s roomy, coming in at 25 cm by 17.5 cm and armed with a detachable top handle as well as a longer shoulder strap for ease of use.
