It’s a collaboration I never saw coming, but it’s a great one nonetheless. Celebrating its 80th anniversary this year (who knew, right?), Rimowa has joined hands with Fendi to create this one-off Fendi x Rimowa cabin trolley in aluminium. You already know how much I love Rimowa, so this coupling is a definite bonus, what with a slew of beautiful details from Fendi.

For starters, the aluminium suitcase features Fendi’s iconic double F logo as a brushed effect on the exterior. Then there are the leather handles (on the top and at the side) that are Cuoio Romano leather, but the most eye-catching detail has got to be the addition of the webbing that runs around the suitcase. In black and yellow with the FF logo, it also adds an additional level of security even though it’s just a cabin case.

The details don’t end there though. The interior again comes printed with more FF logos, along with more black/yellow webbing details. Finishing off the collaboration? A luggage tag that you can emboss your initials on, as well as a pack of fun stickers to further customise your suitcase.

While there’s no official word on the price yet, it is good to know that this regular cabin trolley retails for SGD1240 in Singapore. And I’m guessing with the Fendi collab, it should be in the SGD2500 range, but I’m just speculating. To be launched in Singapore in December 2017, watch this space for more updates.

Ok guys, I was wrong. Way wrong. Priced at SGD3290 for this limited edition #FendiXRimowa carry-on, the good news is that it is now available in Singapore. Expensive yes, but it is also so so so desirable, especially if you’re big on carry-on luggage for work or play.
