Chaumet Liens Seduction: Decoding The Knot

Chaumet’s extensive Liens collection has been a key code of the house since its debut in 1970. Joining Liens Evidence, Liens D’Amour and Jeux De Liens is an all-new collection known as the Liens Seduction, easily identified by an elegant knot that’s pretty much the design of this line-up. Now, this knotted element is more than just for design aesthetic purposes. In fact, it represents so much more than just being that eye-catching asymmetric motif as it bears key elements within that will be decoded for you here today.

For one, it mimics a ribbon’s knot, one that unrolls and ties together with a touch. A universal expression of love, this knotted symbol represents the love between two passionate individuals as they come together, deeply connected as a pledge of everlasting devotion.

The entire Liens Seduction collection comes in either 18K white or rose gold, and some of the designs even come set with brilliant-cut diamonds for that extra touch of bling and sophistication. The key number to note is 16, with the line extending beyond just rings to also include bracelets, ear studs, hoop earrings and pendants, which all in all makes for a pretty solid fine jewellery collection.

And if you were to look closely at the pieces, you will notice an asymmetric silhouette. In other words, it is also a reminder that love isn’t always perfect, but rather how two people come together to make it work in the form of an everlasting knot. Now available at Chaumet boutiques at ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands, head on down and experience the knot. A knot that will never get loose, a knot that bonds, and a knot that represents the eternal love that is the Liens Seduction.
