Saint Laurent has unveiled a new bag for the season and it’s called the Babylone. Visually similar to the Bellechasse that was released a couple months back, both bags feature the same silhouette with a top handle. But that’s where the similarities end. The Babylone takes it a step further with a much bigger size (the Medium alone measures 24 cm by 17 cm) and comes furnished with even more features within. Saint Laurent’s answer to the men’s briefcase for the women of today, the Babylone is the chicer version that’s perfect for the cool edgy ladies.

Slide up the push-lock closure and the top flap opens to unveil a roomy interior with two inner compartments to hold your everyday essentials. Look further and you will find even more intriguing elements that make the Babylone a true standout.

For starters, each Babylone comes with its own passport case, which is a great bonus. Look under the flap and you’ll find the words ‘How can an angel break my heart?’ scrawled on it, something only Anthony Vaccarello can explain. Then there’s the hidden slot pocket under the flap, a great place to hide all your love letters from lovers past. Or maybe not.

Available in two designs, a croc-embossed one (SGD3650), as well as a smooth leather one in Black (SGD3500), they are now available in Singapore at both Saint Laurent boutiques in ION Orchard and Marina Bay Sands.
