Mansur Gavriel Fall 2017 Ocean Bag

Mansur Gavriel just had its very first runway collection (with models strutting down in RTW as well) on 10 September, and it was a beautiful showcase of everything luxe from mohair cable knits to wool cashmere coats, among its stellar leather bags and shoes. It was nothing short of spectacular, and one fans have been anxiously waiting for, with one particular bag standing out: what the dynamic duo calls the Ocean Bag.

Made up solely of a structured leather body, the bag’s key feature lie in its scallop-shaped sides that mimic ocean waves. The open top allows easy access within, with an interior side pocket that’s great for cards or a small mobile phone. Armed with a single sling strap that comes ‘tied’ to the bag, the Ocean Bag (30 cm by 28 cm) can be carried over the shoulder. The only downside? It is pretty narrow, which means you can only carry the barest of essentials on any given day.

Retailing at USD695 online over at Mansur Gavriel’s (yes, they do ship internationally), you can also find the Ocean Bag priced slightly lower at USD652 over at Net-A-Porter. The only bad news? NAP only has 2 colours, while Mansur Gavriel has the entire range of 9 colours, and 3 others in a lower-priced Vegetable Tanned Leather that stands at USD595. The choice is all yours. #happyshopping
