I have no words. And I mean it quite literally as well. Because after I’d prepped the image for this post and added it into the Media Library, I find out its price and I’m like gobsmacked for the next 30 minutes.

It has been 4 hours.

And I’m still stunned.

From Louis Vuitton (obvious, isn’t it), comes this newish bag that’s called the Lorette. Measuring some 27 cm by 19 cm (which makes it almost A4 in size), the single-zip dual-pouch handbag comes with its own long leather sling that’s also bi-coloured; one side is Orange, the other is Pink. Available in limited quantities at Louis Vuitton Marina Bay Sands, it is finished with a bright pink leather luggage tag, basically your pick-up-and-go weekend sling, its dual compartments allowing you to hold as much (or as little) as you want.

The body is mostly 95% Monogram Canvas, with bits of leather along the trim, which brings us to the reason why I was stunned. Priced at SGD1880, it’s not exactly the most affordable sling bag around. Had it been around a thousand, or a thousand five hundred I’d be ok. But almost two grand? And is it just me or are their prices going on an up and up of late? Hmm…
