Now that Moynat has opened her doors in Singapore as of last Friday, it is time to properly reintroduce the entire catalogue of bags, SLGs and accessories from the French luxury atelier both new and old. And one of their newer bags includes Gabrielle, named after the founder Pauline Moynat’s first muse, Gabrielle-Charlotte Reju.

Introduced as recently as 2016, the Gabrielle family has since expanded into 3 different sizes, the Mini Gabrielle (20 cm by 15 cm by 8 cm), the Little Gabrielle (26 cm by 18 cm by 9 cm) and the Gabrielle, which is also the largest of the trio at 31 cm by 21 cm by 12 cm. Beautifully structured in Carat Calfskin leather, it is much slimmer (and sharper) than the Réjane, which you could consider its more-rounded sister.

Finished with calfskin lining (because Moynat doesn’t believe in cheap fabric interiors) and accompanied with a shoulder sling that’s both adjustable in length and removable, you can now view it to your hearts’ content (and hopefully decide to bring her home) at Moynat’s first boutique that’s located within Takashimaya Shopping Centre. Priced from SGD5420 and up, the Gabrielle family also extends to a clutch and a sling bag, known as Gabrielle Clutch and the Gabrielle Reporter respectively.

Modern, smart and a great bag for work or play, trust me when I say this. While I was holding fort at Moynat on Friday and Saturday, half the women gravitated to the Réjane, while the other half simply couldn’t keep their eyes (or hands) off the Gabrielle.
