Danse Lente Lorna

Ladies, meet Danse Lente (which means slow dance in French, by the way), an up-and-coming leather goods brand based in London that, from the looks of it, has some of the most beautifully sculptural bags around. Well-priced, crafted in Italy, made almost entirely of leather and coming in the most avant-garde shapes I’ve seen in a long while, they’ve got 5 styles at the moment, 2 of which are perpetually sold out, which can only be a good sign.

From the boxy Young to the trippy Johnny, today’s post is all about the Lorna, a chic oversized ‘bucket’ bag that’s my current favourite from the label. Featuring punctuated keyhole fastening details on the strap, you can easily adjust the strap to your preferred length. Measuring 27 cm in height by 33 cm at its widest, it’s deeper than it’s wide, which makes it perfect for all your daily essentials. Architecturally beautiful as well, it also comes with a pair of short top handles, plus an extra detachable pouch that can be used as a day wallet.

Priced at just USD590 (yes, USD590, or just SGD810 after conversion), you can purchase one online via Danse Lente, where they do ship internationally, even to Singapore. Available in Black (pick from 3 differently coloured straps), Nude and one more in multi-colours, you can even pick up an additional leather strap for just USD125, which means more possibilities when it comes to mixing and matching.

In other words, if you want a standout piece that’s easy on the pocket and even easier on the eyes, the Lorna could be the one for you.
