If this bag were a fragrance, it would be a heady mix of brass and leather, given that combination of aged gold-tone hardware and soft supple lambskin that’s simply too irresistible to resist. A new offering from Dior’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection (you can follow this link to see more) that’s part of the #DiorAddict line of bags, it’s also the one that has my heart.

Let me elaborate. Measuring some 24 cm by 16 cm (this is for the Medium size), the DiorAddict Flap Bag is quite simply one of the most beautiful creations from Maria Grazia Chiuri’s design team yet. Not exactly a new shape, but when paired with that vintage-inspired clasp that’s topped with DIOR, it’s a combination that works. Coupled with the stitched Cannage leather that’s a Dior signature, you can wear the bag long or short, depending on how you adjust the long sling.

On the inside of the bag you’ll find suede, with a single gusseted body that allows you to put as much as you want (or as little as you need) without ruining its shape. There’s also the pair of pockets on each side, one a patch compartment, the other a zip pocket for those things you prefer to keep out of sight.

Priced at SGD4500 for the Medium (or SGD4200 for the Small that measures 21 cm by 13 cm), it’s a classic-in-the-making from the French luxury house that you should buy for the following 3 reasons. Firstly, it won’t date anytime soon, secondly, it’s much more affordable than other similarly shaped bags on the market today and lastly, this little darling is really easy on the eyes which is always a good thing.
