Adidas Originals by PORTER Capsule Collection

Think of Porter (Yoshida, not International) and you’ll recall its signature black nylon bags with a pop of orange in the interior. Think of Adidas, and you’ll get… well, pretty much everything under the sun these days, with their NMD sneakers being all the rage of late. Which is why a collaboration between these two giants was inevitable as East meets West.

What can you expect from the collection you may ask? Where bags are concerned, you can expect 2 classics from Porter’s Tanker series that have been jazzed up with Adidas’s signature blue and 3 stripes. There’s the 2-Way Helmut Bag (SGD349), reminiscent of the ones used by air force pilots that’s also a Porter Yoshida signature silhouette.

Then there’s the street favourite 2-Way Waist Bag (SGD259) that comes with the Adidas logo attached next to Porter Yoshida’s standout rectangular logo. What’s more, the traditional orange interior gives way to Adidas’ signature blue, a nod to German sportswear giant that’s synonymous with the colour.

Besides bags, there’s also a pair of shoes, the NMD_C1 (SGD249), which is stamped with the Porter logo on the shoe’s tongue instead of Adidas. Coming in a black mesh upper with blue elements on the tabs around the sole, the shoe is equal parts sleek and chic, and looks great with a pair of rolled-up jeans.

Available at Dover Street Market Singapore’s online store from 10 June 2017, save this page on your bookmark tabs because should you miss out on this you’ll just have to pay way more over at #Carouhell and eBay. And we wouldn’t want that, would we?
