Tiffany & Co.: Behind The Scenes With The HardWear Collection & Lady Gaga

Classic but with an edge, Lady Gaga reinforced this when describing Tiffany & Co.’s new HardWear collection that’s finally available in Singapore this month (click here to see all the pieces). And the campaign imagery, which evokes a certain sense of nostalgia with its strong 30s movie starlet black-and-whites featuring Lady Gaga, as she’s adorned with pieces from the collection that include the triple drop earrings, wrap bracelet and graduated link necklace in 18K gold.

Starting from a central piece in the archives that featured a ball on chain bracelet from the 70s, Lady Gaga shares her thoughts about Tiffany & Co., the new collection and why women should be buying jewellery for themselves.

As she puts it rather beautifully in the footage whilst talking about how the real joy of jewellery is also the romance behind it, saying ‘it is a misconception that your man, or your lover has to buy you jewellery. I think a woman can buy herself jewellery, and put it on with dignity, that she earned it.’

That’s right, ladies, it’s nice to receive the iconic robin-egg blue box from your loved one once in a while. But walking into the boutique and rewarding yourself with a piece or two will certainly bring about a sense of satisfaction that will be beautifully savoured and uniquely yours for a long time to come.
