Louis Vuitton x Fragment Cabas Light Collection

Why Louis Vuitton didn’t launch them earlier still escapes me, but the Cabas Light bags, from the recently launched limited edition Louis Vuitton x Fragment collection, are officially my new favourite bags from the French luxury house. Created in collaboration with Fragment’s Hiroshi Fujiwara, it’s many things most boys will appreciate, from its massive size (50 cm by 50 cm by 16 cm) to the fact that it is extremely lightweight.

Topped with a pair of handles long enough to drape the tote comfortably over the shoulder, open the drawstring closure and reach into its textile-lined interior for the removable canvas pouch that comes with the bag. Available in Monogram Canvas (sorry guys, this one is a Japan-only exclusive), Monogram Eclipse (the one I want) and finally one more in a black textile fabric, the icing on this cult favourite cake has got to be those 4 magic words on the front of the bag, namely Louis Vuitton Fragment Tokyo.

Priced at SGD2860, both the ones in Monogram Eclipse and the black fabric textile are currently OOS, but I’ve also been told that daily replenishments are still happening at the #LVxFragment pop-up at Surrender’s 268 Orchard Road flagship that will end on 7 May 2017. Yes folks, use this long weekend and head on down because you’ll never know if you’ll get lucky and finally get the limited edition piece of your dreams.
