I know what you’re thinking, with Christmas barely over and we’ve yet to celebrate the New Year, here I am talking about new products for the Lunar New Year. Can’t be helped though, since CNY will happen on 28 January 2017, much earlier than previous years. Still, because my motto has always been #anyexcusetoshop, here are two new excuses from Bottega Veneta created specially for the Year of the Rooster.

Crafted out of soft crocodile and embossed with the symbolic rooster, there are at least 8 different colours (if not more) in all, and you can choose from either the key ring or the coin pouch, both of which can also be used as bag charms, which are ideal to jazz up your existing bags for the new year if you don’t intend to get a new one for CNY.

No word yet though on how much they will retail for, or if they are already available in Singapore for sale, so do expect an update or two soon. And with two more days to 2017, is it just me or did 2016 just zoom by in a flash?
