Haven’t heard of Off-White? Well, you know who Kanye West is, right? Well, Off-White is the brainchild of Virgil Abloh, and he’s also Kanye West’s advisor/creative director as far Yeezy’s projects are concerned, which says a lot. The ‘See Now Buy Now‘ bag (which just made its debut in Paris on 29 September), is also known as the Binder Bag, which is pretty obvious as soon as you lay your eyes on it.

Anchored with the most humble of office stationery, founder Virgil Abloh considers it his brand’s ‘first offering of handbags that demonstrated the Off-White personality through design, quality and visual language’. And it’s already a success. Available in 3 colours (Black, Red and White) but sold out in two on www.off—white.com, the 18 cm by 14 cm leather shoulder is also a hit on Net-A-Porter, where it is listed as ‘more stock coming soon’.

Yes, it’s a hit, and it’s not hard to tell why. Besides the quirky binder clip detailing, the made-in-Italy shoulder comes with 2 slings, one in leather with the second in bright yellow, an industrial-style canvas sling that comes stamped with the brand’s logo. It’s bold, it’s fun, and it’s something that will go perfectly with your boyfriend’s Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers, if you know what I mean.

But fret not if you want one to call your own; I hear the SGD1250 bag is still available at Off-White’s newly-opened standalone boutique at 268 Orchard Road, which is that newish glass building that’s just beside Robinsons The Heeren.
