While it sounds like pure irony that this small indie label is also the biggest brand around as far as the fashion set are concerned, there’s definitely no doubt when it comes to their bags, which tick all the boxes as far as affordability, design and desirability are concerned. And after the huge runway success that was their Bucket Bag, new styles have been introduced and one of which is this, the Sun Bag.

At its very basic, it’s your standard tote topped with 2 short handles that’s then decorated with a large leather ribbon. Pretty unassuming, right? But that’s what made the Bucket Bag such a huge hit, and chances are the Sun Bag will pretty much go the same way soon enough.

Available in at least 4 sizes, today’s focus will be on the Mini Sun Bag, a 29 cm wide by 21 cm high rectangular tote. A decent enough size to qualify as a fun weekend bag (an iPad Mini will fit in nicely, for example), NET-A-PORTER currently stocks 3 different colours in 2 different leather finishes. There is one in Blush patent leather (shown above) that’s pretty in pink with just the right amount of shine.

Then there are 2 more in tumbled grained leather, one in Moss (a deep green) and another in Flamma (a lovely rosey red). Priced at USD565 and USD1043 respectively for the ones in patent and grained leather respectively, all 3 can be purchased via Net-A-Porter now, and in case you’re wondering, they all come with an additional sling as well for days when you want to be hands-free.
