In case you haven’t already realised, Gucci has been on top of everything lately, from jaw-dropping designs for both men and women to being one of the most desired brands around, they’ve been on the up and up. Another thing they’ve been doing much better? Bringing forward the deliveries for forthcoming seasons, which would also explain why so many pieces from their Cruise 2017 collection, from RTW to bags and accessories, are already in Singapore for you to shop to your hearts’ content.

And one of the bags that is already here is this: the GG Marmont Matelassé Camera Bag that’s modelled after Gucci’s Soho Disco bag (well, it is the exact same shape) but given the Alessandro Michele makeover. Gone is the huge tassel and the stitched embossed logo on the front, instead you’ll find a quilted matelassé leather body that’s adorned with a GG logo, known now as the #GGMarmont that comes in a vintage-y finished gold sheen.

On the back side? The same quilted chevron finish but with a stitched GG logo. Available in an eye-watering range of colours (and I mean a lot), the bag currently comes in 2 sizes, the Mini (18 cm by 12 cm) as well as the Small (24 cm x 13 cm), both of which are now available at Gucci boutiques at Marina Bay Sands and Paragon. Priced from SGD1290 for the Mini and between SGD1610 and SGD2040 for the ones in the Small, both styles come with a long sling so that you can simply just wear it across the body (or over the shoulder) with ease.  And for those of you who would like something even larger, there’s a Medium too (27 cm by 24 cm) that comes with a front patch pocket as well. Not as cute, but definitely more functional, if you know what I mean.
