Moynat Mens Corsaire

Behold the Corsaire from the French luxury label Moynat, which some of you might find familiar since it does take after another house classic, the Ballerine. Meant to be the male to the Ballerine’s female, the Corsaire is imagined by Creative Director Ramesh Nair as one that’s as timeless as it is modern, with its frame made entirely of leather that’s then hand-stitched onto a body of leather for that structured look.

Measuring some 55 cm by 36 cm by 26 cm, the Corsaire is as supple as it is generous, with the roomy interior allowing you to use it as either a city bag or as carry-on on the plane, with a pair of zippered pockets on the inside providing more organisation opportunities. Made of Taurillon-Gex leather (you know, the grained, hard-wearing kind), colours it comes in includes Slate and Terre de Sienne, with it priced at EUR8900 apiece.

The only downside? You’ll need to be in a handful of cities to get one, including its only flagship in Paris and Moynat Gallery in Hong Kong’s Landmark from early March 2016.
