Dior S/S15 Be Dior

dior_ss15-be-dior-collection1 While I’m proud to say that most of the content on this blog has been sourced by me based on what I like or what I think is worth a closer look, I also monitor what’s going on over my social media platforms with regard to what I put out. Take last month’s post on the Be Dior, for instance. You guys can’t seem to get enough of it, and yesterday’s video upload on Facebook broke some records as far as I’m concerned, which only means there’s one thing left to do: do another post on Dior’s Be Dior.

And instead of reposting that #makingof video here (you can watch it via this link) or repeating everything I already waxed lyrically about the bag (click here to read post in full), let’s instead focus on the new S/S15 variations that will be launched in Singapore (and the region) really really soon.

dior_ss15-be-dior-collection2 First up, the ‘special’ one (shown above) in satin-finish calfskin that comes decorated with gilded flowers, stripes and signatures from the French house. Finished with leather-clad handles in Red and D-I-O-R charms in Bleu Céleste, this runway-worthy campaign-ready bag in small will set you back by just SGD6700.

dior_ss15-be-dior-collection3 Along with colourful variants (you know, the ones that come in a solid hue and finished with 2 accent colours, which I’ll upload to Facebook later), I would just like to highlight that besides the smooth calfskin versions that most of you would be panicky about due to its perceived fragility, there are also Be Dior bags in tougher grained bullcalf leather that are definitely hardier than the former. In Black with the hardware in gold, you’ll also find it in Mineral Blue and silver hardware.

One more thing before I sign off. As far as exact availability and pricing are concerned, do check with your local Dior boutique, and when it comes to Singapore, you’ll find their lovely stores at ION Orchard, Marina Bay Sands and Ngee Ann City.
