There are days when you want to spend SGD2000 on a pair of shoes, and then more often than not, there are days when you can’t spare more than SGD200. Which brings us squarely to the subject of the Topman TMD Fluro Trainers, the object of my latest shoe crush; it’s new, on-trend, on-trend and guaranteed to give people the impression you’re high on the happy pill. Or still in kindergarten.
But for those who dare, head online to Topman where it sells for SGD196 before shipping. No word yet if our local Topman stores will be carrying these as well, so do stay tuned for more updates.

UPDATE: Great news! Both pairs of sneakers are now available at Topman ION Orchard and priced at SGD139 a pop. Thing is, there are only 8 pairs in Singapore (4 per colour combo, one size each from 41 to 44), so really, it’s first come first served guys.
I think they are quite expensive for what they are.
As compared to a SGD2000 pair of Louboutins? I’m sorry but you lost me at ‘quite expensive’. Really?
ron may not be comparing the shoes to louboutins. 196SGD IS expensive for a pair of trainers, especially by a brand not known for their shoes. not everyone has that kind of money to throw at a pair of trendy sneakers that may go out of style in a few months.

They are expensive for plastic and rubber and for being Topman knock-offs of the Valentino trainers. Would rather spend twice that for a higher end brand of classic shoes.
