Sophie Hulme Envelope Mini Shoulder
A rather permanent fixture on Net-A-Porter since it made its debut a couple of seasons back, Sophie Hulme’s line of leather bags is still in essence what they were in the beginning: simply designed and well-priced with a surprise or two in tow. Take the newish Sophie Hulme Envelope Mini Shoulder (shown above) that’s priced at GBP241. Around SGD480 or so after conversion, the 21 cm by 16 cm textured leather shoulder comes anchored with its own gold-plated brass plaque, which is just about as fussy as it gets.
There’s also the detachable leather strap, which can be removed and the bag used as a clutch, or keep it on and have it slung across your body. And now for the surprise. A Hulme signature, her bags almost always come with a charm, and in the case of the Envelope Mini Shoulder, it’s a mini gold dinosaur, which can also be removed and used as a key ring.
