Givenchy Pre-Fall 2013 Scarf Collection
As far as Givenchy is concerned, I’ve figured out that the best way to know what’s coming out from the French house is to first check out the scarves of the season. From tees to shirts and clutches to backpacks, prints found on the scarves will usually be repeated on the other merchandise.
In other words, all you’ll really need to do now, since we are still months away from their eventual release, is to pick a favourite print/pattern and start saving.
Take for example the new Digital Dog print, which I’m guessing is a Doberman Pinscher. From the Pre-Fall 2013 Mens Givenchy collection, it’s made to look rather abstract in typical Tisci style, with the print also making appearances on tees, sweatshirts and yes, zip clutches that everyone’s still crazy over.
Here’s another variation of the dog print, but set against a tartan background, along with a star in each corner.
I’m still trying to figure out why the number 17 keeps popping up all over Tisci’s Givenchy (his age when he first enrolled in Central Saint Martins?), not that it would matter to the legions, since most everything from Givenchy automatically sells out anyway.
Pevert 17 tee, anyone?
