Fendi S/S13 Giano Miniaudiere

Having written these off when I first spotted them a few seasons ago, the truth is that over time, they started to grow, slowly but surely, on me. Resembling kidney beans especially when propped up vertically and viewed from an angle, I’m thankful they are still around this season, without which this post would not have been possible.

From the Spring-Summer 2013 Womens Fendi line-up, the Giano Miniaudiere collection is made up of clutches that are petite and delicate, measuring 15 cm across by 12 cm. Each beautifully adorned with gold-tone hardware and covered in a multitude of precious materials from calf hair to eel skin, they also come with a long and thin metal chain, which instantly converts it into a slinky shoulder purse.

In other words, if you’re sick of the Knot or find Mcqueen’s pieces too wildly extravagant, the Giano Miniaudiere could be another option worth checking out.
