Montblanc Sport Chronograph Automatic
I like my watches thick, chunky with a bit of weight, solid even, because to me, a watch that’s all that is exactly what a good timepiece should be. Something that’s substantial and eye-catching, and when matched correctly with your outfit completes the look perfectly.
And with the new Montblanc Sport Chronograph Automatic, it’s a worthy contender that easily satisfies my personal checklist as far as I’m concerned.
Made up of a tough stainless steel case and black DLC coating (which technically means Diamond Like Carbon), there’s something about its all black everything (case, bezel, dial and alligator leather strap) that’s particularly sexy. It’s so sexy, in fact, I’ll even overlook the numerals on its rotating bezel, which while useful is not entirely necessary.
Still, there’s no denying that this is indeed a very handsome watch, made even more so by the fact that as far as prices for luxury timepieces go, this is a steal at SGD7600. I’ll just need to check it out for myself at the Montblanc boutique. And we’ll see…
