Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Pochette
Here’s your first look at a new addition that will be joining the Monogram Canvas family of bags sometime towards the end of August. Simply referred to as the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Pochette, it does look somewhat similar to the classic Eva, which also sports the same elongated body and dual slings.
One’s a long vachetta leather strap that allows you to wear it across the body, and the other, a shorter chain-link sling that you can wear over the shoulder. Which is always a good thing as far as bags are concerned as it just means that you will have more options when you’re out and about with it.
And though I don’t have the measurements in yet, I do think it would be larger and roomier than the Eva (see the protruding sides), but unlike the Eva which comes with a large metal plaque in the middle, this one is finished off with a small rectangular clasp.
Expect another update soon with the size and price in SGD, but till that day comes, what do you think? Is it a yay for you? Or is it a nay?
UPDATE: This just in, the PM and MM (two sizes only) will retail for SGD885 and SGD1090 respectively.

It’s called the Favorite and comes in a PM and MM, priced at USD710 and USD830. The PM is the size of Eva and the MM is larger by about two inches.
Does the gold chain stays on like the Eva or is it removable? I know the PM is USD710 and GM is USD860 in the US.
The chain can be removed.
I got to take a sneak peek at this bag yesterday. The gold chain is exactly like the one on the Eva – you can only detach the chain from one side. It is not removable unless you use a pair of pliers to pry it open on one end!
