Coach Legacy Leather Flap Commuter
Having already previewed the upcoming Fall-Winter 2012 Mens Coach collection that includes the new Legacy pieces, I’m pleased to report that one of my next season must-haves will include this particular piece, the Coach Legacy Leather Flap Commuter.
Inspired by pieces found in the Coach archives, the bags in the Legacy collection are a study in timeless classic styles and bold vibrant colours with nary a monogram in sight, which can only be a good thing for those amongst you who favour the clean and the minimalist. And the Legacy Leather Flap Commuter is no different, a handsome, simply designed tote/messenger that’s actually more functional than it actually looks.
Carrying it one of 3 different ways (over the shoulder, across the body or in your hand), you’ll find conveniently placed pockets in and around the bag, which makes organisation a breeze. Then there’s the whole front flap with the dual twist clasps on either end, which gives it that old-school look that’s so current at the moment. And I’ll bet you it will still look relevant many years on, which is also why I’ve decided to add this to my personal collection in the first place.
I’ll just need to wait for it to be launched (soon, I’ve heard) and find out what it will actually cost, which shouldn’t be too high either since Coach has been doing its best to keep prices here as competitive as possible.
UPDATE: The bag will be released on 19 July in Singapore and will retail for SGD1295.

minimal, elegant, classy! I like it… it can be worn season by season without going out of trend.
This bag is all kinds of sexy.
Grr…
I’m loving this. Do another shout-up when it hits SG ok?
Will do Fred!
Got mine. It’s pretty rad.
Is it just me or is it not on the Coach websites still? Am wanting to see what the price for other regions will be!
I think it’s slowly coming out in the States, the Legacy collection was first launched in Asia if I’m not wrong.
Thanks!
Saw this beautiful bag… love the Legacy. My friend bought the 2nd last one out of 4 in SG.
