Bagaholicboy News #231 – The Mulberry Sale Has Kicked Off Online!
One of the most anticipated online sales (in my books anyway, ranked up there along with Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter’s international sales) is Mulberry’s, which incidentally has just kicked off!
With generous discounts aplenty, you’ll find most everything from S/S12 on sale, from the ever popular Alexa to the classic Bayswater in a wide variety of colours and finishes. You also find the Edie, the Heritage Bayswater and the Lily up for grabs at really great prices.
If you’re in the market for a Travel Day Bag, these are 50% off by the way. Take for example the one in Natural Mixed Printed Leather. Was GBP1500, now GBP750.
Besides bags, you’ll also find accessories like purses, pouches, fancy jewellery and scarves, which will make great gift ideas for those of you who have friends with birthdays coming up, so it’s an ideal way to plan ahead and save as well.
Boys needn’t feel left out either. I spotted the dashing Elkington on sale for just GBP455, and a mock-croc Walter for GBP556, both of which will make very handsome work bags.
Just head over online soon before the choicest bags get sold out, and yes, Mulberry ships internationally so all you’ll need to do is to let your fingers do the clicking.

Darn I really wanted the iPhone case but it sold out, they only have BlackBerry ones left! I’m going to hang myself.
Ooh I saw this as well! Do you think it’s still worth it after the duties and import taxes? By any chance would you know how much they charged for taxed, etc for shipping to Singapore?
You’ll know how much shipping is after you the item to the cart. For Singapore, if your item plus shipping is over SGD400 it will be charged an additional 7% GST at customs.
The relief has been revised upwards to SGD600 with effect from April this year.
Hi Xan, for internet purchases, the limit is up to SGD400. The relief of SGD600 is for tourists and not for internet purchases.
Hi BB any idea when the sale at SG stores will start?
Not 100% sure, but I’m guessing next week, from Wednesday onwards.
Thanks to this post, me and 3 of my friends managed to get good deals on bags that we wanted! Happiness!
Congratulations Sara! And don’t forget to send me snapshots for Mailbag!

1x oversized Alexa in plaster pink – ordered!
Do you now if it’s cheaper to buy online or get it during sale in SG boutique?
Assuming you are referring to both online and the physical store in SG having sales at the same time, it’s still cheaper to get them online.
Thanks!!! Just place my order on the green grass bayswater and the pinky mink soft calf fur print (though its not on sale).
The local Mulberry do warrant any repair or damage if we purchase online right?
As long as you have the official receipt for Mulberry (even if it is from their online store), I think they will honour it.
many thanks!
Sorry, I would like to ask a very noob question. New to the world of designer bags.
Would it be cheaper to shop online or purchase at outlet store, assuming I would like to get an Alexa and not looking at any skin or colour in particular?
Just get it online, especially since it is on sale now.
I doubt you’ll find the Alexa at an outlet, and even then there’s only one Mulberry outlet I know of and it’s located in Bicester Village, UK.
Was at the outlet last year and you are better off getting it online, the Bicester Village outlet really has nothing much.
Hi BB would you have any suggestions of online shops in SG where I can buy or find good deals on bags?
Do they have 50% now?? Missed the last promo… *heartbroken*
