Update – Kenzo + Vans Shoe Collection
The wait (albeit a short one) is finally over. Having received a tip-off that these babies are now available for pre-order via Opening Ceremony, I zoomed in on the site, checked out all the styles and sent in my email.
Priced at USD125 a pair (around SGD155 a pop after conversion), it’s not overly expensive for a brand that’s now back in the limelight, and one to watch in the seasons to come. Available in 6 different colour ways, sizes run from US men’s 4 to 11.5, which also means the ladies can (and should) get in on the action as well.
Have a look at the full range here, which includes pairs in green, red and the classic all white (shown above), all emblazoned with the signature fishnet pattern that was created by OC’s own Carol and Humberto for the S/S12 Kenzo collection. In other words? Buy.

Hmm. I really, really, really like these. But I can’t think of a logical reason why I should get myself another pair of canvas sneakers!!!
When it comes to shoes (or the act of adding new pairs to your collection), no logic is required.
I emailed them but not sure if it got through as there was no reply and I’m not sure what info they need from me.
I haven’t got a reply yet either. Just all we can do is wait since they must be overwhelmed with emails.
