Smythson Turquoise Sling

If you’re still hunting high and low for a Mothers’ Day gift that also won’t look too out of place in your own wardrobe, then I would like to recommend the Smythson Turquoise Sling. Besides being amazingly affordable, it’s got that whole vintage-yet-contemporary vibe that’s all the rage right now. What’s more, it’s stunning in turquoise, made even more resplendent when finished with a gold-tone hardware clasp that’s filled with a bright coral shagreen inlay.

On the inside you’ll find the 22.5 cm by 18 cm bag lined with lush red satin, as well as a ruched side pocket that will definitely come in handy for your bits and bobs.

And strangely, it does remind me of The Row’s Shoulder Bag, not because they are identical, but if you were to put them side by side, one would be inclined to think that they came from the same collection.

It’s not real croc (it’s just croc-embossed), which is also why this darling will only set you back by around SGD800 or so after conversion, which isn’t too bad. Especially when both you and your Mum can take turns using it.
