For those of you in New York (or heading to the city soon), you’ll be able to check out the limited re-editions of Prada bags going as far as back as 20 years, which have been remade for sale to commemorate the Costume Institute’s Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations exhibit.
Available for sale now at Prada boutiques within NYC, there should be a total of 9 different designs available selected from the archives, including this printed canvas clutch from 2003 that’s priced at USD1895.
Others include this framed satin number from 1991 (USD995, shown above), the original doctor’s bag from Prada dating back to 2000, as well as a lace-detailed nylon number from 2005.
What’s more fascinating is the fact that they haven’t been modified in any way, so technically this is your chance to get yourself a brand-new bag that’s also at least 20 years old all at once. Which is mind-blowing, especially for someone like me.
