Mulberry Bryn
This bag isn’t due out in Singapore till early July at the earliest, but since it already made its debut with Alexa Chung in tow at a dinner hosted in honour of the artistes participating at the Frieze Projects, I thought it was worth a quick mention.
Simply known as the Mulberry Bryn, I’m also about to explain why it looks so familiar. Adapted from the mens collection (does the Brynmore ring any bells?), its most recognisable is the trio of lock options on the front, though I think the one on the womens variations are purely cosmetic.
Slightly smaller than A4, you can use it as a clutch (like what Alexa did), or sling it across your body by way of its removable shoulder strap. Available in Black (shown above), Flame, Oak and Petrol, they are priced at SGD1690 a pop and will be available here in Singapore in the coming months.
There will also be small and oversized versions of the Bryn, but I’ll cover those later. So tell me, what’s your first impression of the Bryn? Do you like it because it is so clean and simple, or do you not like it because it is too clean and simple. You tell me.

another mulberry winner in my opinion.
Like! This will be a classic in time to come.
A definite YES here, clean and simple designs would always be a classic investment! Cant wait to see the oversized version.
Super like!!!
Always thought the Brynmore looks great and have been hoping for a female adaptation. Voila! But since I’ve gotten the Polly Pushlock, I’m looking forward to the small version!
Yes, that one is even cuter, albeit a little less practical but cute nonetheless.
