Hermès Drag Up
One of the bags you’ll be seeing in Hermès boutiques come F/W12 is the Hermès Drag Up, a reissue of a 1964 model that’s making a comeback after 48 years. Stately and structured, it is said that it was originally inspired by an English horse-drawn coach, though honestly, I’m not making the connection.
With a front flap that’s somewhat similar to the Birkin, its most distinguishing feature has got to be its H clasps, which I’m assuming is how the bag will be secured. No word yet on the measurements of this bag, though I’ve been told it will come in 2 sizes and 2 different colours (Earth and Cinnamon) for its F/W12 release.
And as far as the price is concerned, I’m still waiting on an official reply, though I think it would easily be in the five figure range, given how similar bags like the Birkin and Kelly are priced.
Do stay tuned for a full review, which I’ll share later on. But if first impressions are everything (and the size/price is just right), this could just be my next Hermès acquisition. Because it never hurts to dream.

cool stuff!
Looks so-so. Not very Hermes actually.
Do keep us updated! This could be my next H bag too!
Hopefully it’s big enough for a guy to pull it off. (FB)
It comes in 2 sizes, so fingers crossed Daniel!
Drool…
As a H collector, I would easily know it’s Hermes. Can’t wait to try!
My wife loves Hermes and I don’t know why… She saw this picture and said she wants this. Now, I am monitoring the price… I hope it’s not that expensive… but I doubt it!
have you got the date for the release BB?
