Update – Mulberry Del Rey
For those of you who have been charmed by the upcoming Mulberry Del Rey (no prizes for guessing who it’s named after) that’s only supposed to be due out in May 2012, I’ve got a piece of good news to share especially if you’re located in London, New York or Singapore.
Making her debut one month early today at only 3 locations worldwide, you’ll be able to pick up the Del Rey from Mulberry boutiques on New Bond Street (London), Spring Street (New York City) and yes, Orchard Road (in this case, at their boutique over at Hilton Shopping Gallery).
Priced at SGD1960 each, limited quantities of the Del Rey in Black and Deer Brown will be available while stocks last; after that it’s back to the queue with the rest of the world if you’re still lusting after it.
Frankly, I haven’t seen her for myself in person so I can’t really give you my two cents’ worth, but from the looks of it, this should be a hit with those looking for something that’s all grown-up and no-nonsense, as opposed to say, the Alexa.

eh this bag honestly i feel sets mulberry back 10 years to where they were before… the alexa was young and exciting but this… eh… quite… duh…

Prefer the Alexa. I hedged on the ink stain bayswater, which I now totally regret. *sigh* Anyone know where I can (still) find one?
