Givenchy Tri-Coloured Antigona
It may not be as popular as the Nightingale or the Pandora, but there’s no denying how adorable the Givenchy Antigona is. I have always referred to it as the ‘bulbous beauty’, given that fact that it’s voluptuously rounded.
This one (which I think is from the Pre-Spring 2012 line-up) is given a sporty makeover, with the body in cream leather accented by detailing in bright orange and black. And to top it all off, it’s finished with gold-tone hardware for that extra luxe look. Measuring 40 cm across at its widest point and standing around 30 cm tall, I’ve seen Antigona bags used as roomy baby bags, as well as on guys who have no issue with the fact that it’s a ladies bag.
If you’re looking to purchase it online, I’ve done the homework for you. Barney’s stocks the one in black that retails for USD2410, while Singapore-based Bag Bistro has both colours for SGD2390 each. The moral of the story? Always do your research before buying anything online because there’s always savings to be had.

I just received mine and its super gorgeous! Lightweight and very practical. The best thing is that it does not lose its shape. And seriously guys can pull it off! (FB)

If you’re referring to the general shape, then yes. Other than that, both bags are completely different. You’ll realise that when you put both bags side by side.
I love this bag but it’s a little too big for daily use and for someone petite like me. I wish they have these in small sizes!
It does come in a smaller size. Here’s one I found over at Kepris that measures 27 cm by 26 cm.

I have this exact tri-colour and I love it! There are small sizes and it’s quite a good size for small girls. I just hope the Givenchy Antigona will not be the next Chanel flap bag on everyone’s shoulder – selfish I know but it’s so gorgeous you’ll wish it’s one-of-a-kind for yourself!

I recently bought this bag and I absolutely love it. I too hope it doesn’t become so popular that it’s seen on everyone’s arm! I bought the smaller one. But the larger one can definitely work for a guy!
Love it. Does Singapore have import duty? So when you buy something online for more than $1000 you get taxed?
You don’t need to hit 1K, any online purchase more $300 you are liable for tax. Some companies even charge an admin fee on top of GST. As far as I know, only LUISAVIAROMA and Net-A-Porter has tax incorporated in already so no surprises when it comes.
I thought it was SGD400.

The one that measures 33 cm by 28 cm is around EUR1490. Not sure about the other size.
