Jetsam Uncle Larry Collection
If you’ve been bowled over by the retro prints Prada has been using loads of since a couple of seasons ago, you’ll find some sort of semblance of it in the Jetsam Uncle Larry series, a collection of wallets made up of reconstructed vintage neckties and wool suiting.
Each piece as unique as the next, they all come with a long billfold slot for cash as well as a pair of card slots, great for days when you need to carry pretty little while you’re out and about.
Besides the ones from the Uncle Larry series that I adore, I’m also eyeing these from the Jetsam Spiffy Lumberjack collection, also made from vintage ties.
All made in San Diego by American firm Prix-Prix, whose ethos is all about sustainable design, these eco-friendly wallets will be available at Cumulus at SGD69 a pop in the coming week. The perfect no-brainer gift to yourself after a bad day at work, these will make great X’mas gifts as well.

Saw the wallets today. Love the prints and the fact that they are recycled, hate the interiors though. Kinda shabby, but well, only $69 what more can you expect.
