Named after Victoria Beckham herself, the F/W11 variation of the Victoria comes in 3 words: bold, bright and brilliant. Sold out almost immediately after it made its debut on Net-A-Porter earlier this week, fans of the lush label can still pick it up in Singapore, where it is now available exclusively at On Pedder, priced at SGD4100 a pop. Besides the one in Red, it also comes in Black (both with gold-tone hardware).
Measuring 35 cm by 22 cm, its most distinct features include its minimal use of hardware and the unique way it opens on the top. On the inside, it’s as bare (you can call it minimal) as it gets, lined with cream leather and nothing more than a pair of side slit compartments.
If you’re one of those who love your bags looking classic and elegant (brands like Delvaux, The Row and Valextra come to mind), this is one bag you shouldn’t be without this season.

Looks like a classic but a bit too simple for me… Especially if I have to pay $4K to get it!
The Row’s Doctor bag looks uncannily similar (hmm), but if I had the choice (and the money), I’ll take The Row’s bag home. The Victoria looks a little bit uptight IMO.

Purely in terms of looks, it has a classic feel to it. It is worth checking out to see if the $4k is steep or worth its weight in gold. Victoria may not be a ‘big name’ but she definitely is holding her own in the industry.
